Original & Authorized Parts

Only authorized battery kits are used when replacing batteries in  dive computers and instruments. Not all batteries perform the same and the batteries supplied in these kits have been tested for suitable performance. The kits include all the parts that should be replaced once the battery compartment has been opened.

Battery Replacement

Your computer’s watertight seals are critical. That’s why a battery replacement isn’t just changing the battery. The battery compartment o-ring will be replaced, and in some cases even the battery compartment door is replaced. Zoop, Mosquito (D3), Stinger, Spyder, and D-series computers get leak tested in the Witschi Proofmaster S and all computers are test dived to 130′ (40m) in a state-of-the art pressure pot to check all computer functions.

Be A Well Informed Diver

All dive centres that offers servicing should have the appropriate tools and service parts available at their store. As a well informed customer, please check with the shop and inspect all their inventory before committing to their services. If a dive centre has their own facilities, insist that they do the changing of batteries in front of you and personally witness the watertight testing in their chamber facilities.

Authorized and Original Parts

Demand that you want the keep the parts that have been changed so that you know proper work is done.

Warranty Period

Any scuba gear repair, servicing or change of battery will have a warranty period of three months. Any claims made during the warranty period, we will not charge a single cent should any problem arise. Also, if you do change your dive computer batteries elsewhere, be sure to check your last dive. The watertight chamber test would have cause the computer to logged a dive
