More than 10 years ago, I took my first plunge into diving. The first experience was breath taking and I knew instantly this is something I would love to be doing more often. One thing led to another, one course after another course, one trip after another trip.
Before I knew it, I was already starting to enjoy diving and wanted to share this love with many others.
And I met my first diving mentor. He convinced me that I should be doing this part-time and I should just stop wasting THAT couple of hundred dollars, drinking, wining, entertaining and partying. Well, he was right. I never looked back and never regretted.
Some of the dive professionals that we have trained have opened their own dive outlets, some of them are "full-time" freelancing.
PADI Divemaster ARE NOT SLAVES. They are highly trained certified assistance. Without them, the instructor conducting the courses would be exhausted at the end of the day. The Divemaster relentlessly help out the instructor throughout the training, ensuring students are having fun throughout the course. They keep a watchful eye over the students while the instructor are busy with another student.
Divemasters - They are the supporting pillar of the dive educational arm and also, the first step in becoming a Dive Instructor.
