Is it hard to learn
to scuba dive? |

No, in fact, it's probably easier
than you imagine especially if you're already comfortable

into knowledge development, confined water (pool)
skill training and four scuba training dives. The
course is "performance based," which
means that you progress as you learn and demonstrate
knowledge and skill. |

doctors. |
| Q |
My ears hurt when I dive to the
bottom of a pool. Won't they hurt when I scuba
dive? |
| Ans |
Your ears hurt because water pressure
pushes in on your eardrum. In your scuba course,

ears to the surrounding pressure, much like you
do when you land in an airplane, and they won't
hurt at all. |

| Ans |
It takes four hours by land and
another 3 hours (Pulau Tioman) or another 4 hours
(Pulau Dayang) |

the option to either snorkel or just simply come
along for a fun day out |

| Q |
Why is there a price difference
between all the dive centres? |
| Ans |
Each dive centre is unique and have
different service standards. Most dive centres
that are able to sell cheaper courses because of
the following reasons
- They do not belong to PADI
Dive Centres.
- They do not have their own training gears.
- They do not have a shop front and doing this
as a hobby or only on part-time basis
Please note, there are many dive centres in
Singapore that DO NOT employ their full-time
staffs. Hence the teaching style might varies
alot within the dive centre, thus creating a
hurdle in learning. |
