Pre-requisite for Enrollment into PADI IDC Program

PADI Divemaster rating or qualifying certification from another certification organization other than PADI

At least 18 years old

Have 60 logged dives, including night, deep, and navigation scuba dives

Have been a certified scuba diver for at least 6 months

The PADI Assistant Instructor certification is a prerequisite for attending PADI IDC Course.

Teach academic presentations under the indirect supervision of a PADI Instructor

Conduct PADI Discover Scuba experiences

Teach Emergency First Response after successful completion of an Emergency First Response Instructor course

Orpheus Dive in the past years have successfully trained more than 60 diving professionals and many of them have joined the ranks as PADI Instructors

There are many PADI IDC Centres in Singapore but not many have experience PADI IDC Staff Instructors and PADI Master Instructors that are active in conducting PADI Professional courses with a PADI Course Director.

Master Instructor Lester is constantly assisting PADI Course Director Azman Sulaiman in his IDC Programs. Learning from the master, the latest trends and teaching standards, Orpheus Dive is able to conduct a systematic and structured PADI Assistant Instructor program, to ensure candidates are well prepared for the the future IDC Program.

We recognize it is a big step for you to aspire to be a PADI instructor. So, do consider the following points to make sure you undergo the most comprehensive training available.
