PADI Diver Propulsion Vehicle Specialty Course
DPVs offer a thrilling way to see a lot of underwater territory in a brief amount of time. They scoot you through the water without kicking. Want to visit that offshore reef from the beach? A DPV may be the way to go.
- Imagine a product that will enhance your underwater explorations.
- Imagine a product that will help you see more, locate better photo subjects, find more lobsters and bigger fish.
- Imagine a product that can lower your air consumption up to 50%, and give you 5 times more range over normal scuba propulsion.
- Imagine that this product is affordable, user friendly, reliable and really fun to operate.
The (Diver Propulsion Vehicle) is designed to provide divers with greater mobility and less air consumption, giving them more bottom time (within tables) and far greater range.
Scuba Divers pursue this sport to experience the fun and excitement of the underwater world. A DPV can enhance this experience by providing greater mobility and extended time while using less effort. The Diver Propulsion Vechile (DPV or underwate scooter) has been developed specifically for ease in operation and maneuverability.

Equipment Retail |
As a PADI 5 Star Dive Facility, a dive centre must provide in-house retail. Orpheus Dive has a well stocked inventory store covering major brands such as Scubapro, Zeagle, TUSA, Seac Sub, Beauchat, Trident, XS Scuba, Underwater Kinetics and Problue.
In Singapore, there ARE ONLY TWO dive centres that are into full retail business.
Note to diver : There are dive centres that make claims that they do have a retail business. However, they only have an online retail arm that purchase stocks when a customer makes an order. Unlike us, our well stocked store has everything that a diver needs. And because of the volume purchase, we are able to offer lower prices compared to the rest of the dive centres.
