Our in-house technicians are able to perform a 3 hours full-servicing of your Apeks Regulator if you are rushing for time.
With our extensive collection of Authorized Servicing Parts, we are able to build a brand new regulator using our parts alone.
FIND OUT WHAT HAPPENS WHEN WE ARE SERVICING YOUR REGULATOR
REGULATOR SERVICING PROCESS
When your regulator arrives, we will be checking all the variables of your regulator, including the Intermediate Pressure and Inhalation effort. A visible assessement on the regulator will be done externally.
Your regulator is carefully disassemble using the appropriate tools recommended by Apeks. This is one of the most important step that ensures your regulator do not get damage by using inappropriate tools.
After the initial disassemble process, your regulator will go through a degreasing process. This is to remove all former grease or lubricant that has been used on your regulator. A very gentle solution will be used.
This is a two part process. Sensitive parts of the Apeks regulator will be hand wash and clean. The rest of the parts will be submerge in an ultrasonic machine to remove all dirt, rust, salt, and corrosion.
CLEANING & DRYING
Once your regulator has been thoroughly clean, it will go through another step of final cleaning and drying, using cotton swaps and fibre cloth, we ensure no parts of your regulator is damage.
Once the regulator is thoroughly clean and dried, the next time would be to use Apeks Annual Maintenance and Service Kit to replace all required parts in your regulator. Only oxygen-compatible (MCG 111) grease is used.
The regulator is now ready to be reassemble using appropriate tools and using the proper torque recommendation for each part. The Schrader Valve and HP Spool will also be replace.
TUNING TO FACTORY DEFAULTS
Once the regulator is assembled, it will be tuned and checked using a combination of a flowmeter, Magnehelic gauge, and an HP Manager. The advanced testing equipment enables us to check the performance of your regulator performance under a
This is the final test we will be conducting on your regulator. Your newly serviced regulator will be submerged in water to check for the sensitivity of your regulator and any leaks.
